Romelu Lukaku reveals difference between Man Utd and Inter Milan
According to a report by Manchester Evening News, Romelu Lukaku has revealed the difference between Manchester United and Inter Milan.
The towering Belgian, who currently plays for the Italian giants, has hit the ground running in the Serie A. With 23 goals across competitions to his name, it is safe to suggest that he has improved remarkably.
During his time at United, Lukaku showed signs of promise in his first season but from there on, injuries and a lack of form took a severe toll on his confidence. As a result, his impact took a massive hit and he ended up being a peripheral figure at Old Trafford.
Last summer, he ditched United’s red for Inter’s black and blue. Having raised a sizeable £58m fee from his sale, the Red Devils failed to find a replacement during the transfer window.
While his absence has cost us gravely this term, Lukaku’s move to Inter Milan has worked well in his favour.
The report claims that, as per Lukaku, a difference in training has helped him regain his form at Inter. He also added that the criticism surrounding his poor displays played a toll on his mental health while speaking to Ian Wright on his YouTube channel (h/t Manchester Evening News).
