The Belgian ace has been persistently chased by the Serie A outfit, which also saw United rejecting multiple offers in the process.
It is believed that the 26-year-old has agreed a deal until 2024 with bonuses worth £6.6m per year.
Inter’s new manager Antonie Conte see Lukaku as a key figure of a major summer overhaul. The former Chelsea boss took the charge after the departure of Luciano Spalleti.
Lukaku endured a lacklustre season at Old Trafford through the injury struggles and a clear dip in form. His scoring rate also deflated than compared to the previous season.
Meanwhile, United are sorting out some attacking reinforcements as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is poised to give his very best in the next season.
As a part of the Norwegian manager’s summer overhaul, United signed Daniel James from Swansea and the Welsh man is due to join the Old Trafford outfit.
