Manchester United to hijack the signing of Kamaldeen Sulemana from Ajax
According to transfer news from TEAMtalk, Manchester United are planning to hijack Ajax’s move for Kamaldeen Sulemana. It was believed that the Ghanian starlet was heading to Amsterdam. However, the deal looks to have stalled as the player was pictured in Denmark.
The 19-year-old has been garnering much interest, thanks to his excellent performances for Norsjaelland. He made 28 appearances for them this season scoring ten goals and assisting seven (h/t Transfermarkt). Capable of playing anywhere along the frontline, the youngster is making waves with his performances.
A number of top teams are keen on him and are keeping a close watch. Dutch champions Ajax Amsterdam, who made an unsuccessful attempt to land the 19-year-old last January, had stolen the march on us. They were in the driving seat to land the young ace.
However, the deal seems to have paused altogether now. Journalist Mike Verweij explained that the issue is due to Manchester United.
“It’s a complicated story. Ajax are out with Nordsjaelland, but Manchester United seem to be too. That boy is in Amsterdam in the Jaz Hotel next to the ArenA, pending an agreement between Ajax and his agent about a personal contract. After that he can be examined (medical), but that exam from what I’ve heard was postponed to Saturday.”

United will be hoping they can gazump Ajax to the signing of the talented winger. The club have always been after the best young talents in the world and Sulemana is another. However, they will need to pull the deal fast, with Ajax still in the hunt.
