According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are keeping an eye on Stade Rennais forward Kamaldeen Sulemana for a potential move in the future.

The Ghana international has turned the heads of many big clubs around Europe, including the Red Devils. The 20-year-old has been a regular in the squad of the Ligue 1 outfit since his signing last year.

Sulemana joined Rennes in the summer of 2021 from Dutch outfit Nordsjaelland. And last season, the Ghanaian scored five goals and provided two assists for the French side in 28 appearances in all competitions.

His end to the previous campaign was marred by an injury. However, the 20-year-old has been pivotal for Ligue 1 outfit once again this season.

The Black Stars are set to take part in the Qatar World Cup that commences in November. Ghana will take on Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in the group stages. Sulemana has already garnered 11 caps for his national side.

United have a bunch of young wingers in the squad at the moment. The most high-profile star is new summer signing Antony, who moved to the Red Devils from Ajax.

The 22-year-old Brazilian has been the first choice under Erik ten Hag on the right wing, who he has reunited with in Manchester. The forward scored on his debut for the club against Arsenal and followed it up by scoring in his next two Premier League games.

The Dutch manager can also count on Jadon Sancho, Anthony Elanga and Alejandro Garnacho to play out wide. Marcus Rashford is the more relatively veteran option, having turned 25 today (31 October).

Sulemana is still young and has a long way to go in his career. For now, United have a lot of players with potential in the squad. It remains to be seen whether the Ghanaian is able to take his game to the next level and compel the Old Trafford side to make a move in the future.
