Fabrizio Romano claims £50-60m-rated Manchester United target has ‘concrete chance’ of leaving this summer

Manchester United target could be available this summer claims Fabrizio Romano

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United target, Marc Guehi could be available this summer. The 23-year-old defender has been stellar for Crystal Palace this season throughout his 26 appearances.

United would gain an instant boon to their defensive line with the signing of a player like Guehi. Moreover, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof, and Jonny Evans could be leaving this summer so there would be ample space to accommodate Guehi.

Romano also believes that Marc is very likely to leave this summer. Let’s have a look at what he had to say about the situation in his column inside The Daily Briefing.

“Marc Guehi could leave Crystal Palace this summer Some fans have asked me again about Marc Guehi, who was in superb form for Crystal Palace before his injury.”

“Guehi has concrete chances to leave Crystal Palace this summer. I can’t confirm clubs yet, as it’s still really early – the interest is there from several clubs, but it’s nothing really concrete yet.”

Romano also mentioned that there have been reports about interest from Arsenal and Manchester United but he can’t confirm the links at the moment. If true the Red Devils will also have to take on the Gunners for the signing of Guehi.

The 23-year-old will cost around £60m and both clubs have the financial prowess to afford him. However, United might have to facilitate the move through player sales because of PSR issues.

Marc Guehi would be an excellent pick up for Manchester United.

Whatever the case may be, one thing is for sure, Guehi’s future is up in the air and whoever reacts first could add the Crystal Palace defender to their lineup.
