Transfer News: Manchester United target Kamaldeen Sulemana heading to Ajax
According to transfer news from CaughtOffside, Manchester United target Kamaldeen Sulemana is heading to Ajax. It would seem as if Manchester United did not have much of an interest in the 19-year-old Ghanian and he is likely to go to Ajax in a €15m deal.
The 19-year-old has been garnering much interest, thanks to his excellent performances for Norsjaelland. He made 28 appearances for them this season, scoring 10 goals and assisting 7 (h/t Transfermarkt). Capable of playing anywhere along the frontline, the youngster is making waves with his performances.
A number of top teams are keen on him and are keeping a close watch. It was believed that a deal to Ajax had fallen through despite the player visiting the club’s stadium. Manchester United were tipped to be the favourites at that point.
However, it has come to the fore that United never held much of an interest in the teenage winger. He is now expected to sign for Ajax in a deal worth €15m. A few Frech sides were also interested in the highly-rated Norsjaelland forward.

While Sulemana would have been one to watch if United had gotten him, they never really held a concrete interest in him. Perhaps he would be better off at Ajax, where he is likely to get more game time. Sulemana is a player United can look at as a long-term prospect.
