Manchester United hold Mino Raiola responsible for Paul Pogba unrest

According to the Times, Manchester United are confident that Paul Pogba will be at the club next season, if not for Mino Raiola.

The French international has enjoyed an unsettled season at Old Trafford. Rumours regarding his future refuse to go away with Raiola even picking a fight with the club a few months ago.

The superagent is one of the foremost names in the game. However, he is known to be a tough nut to deal with.

Interestingly he played a key role in Pogba initially leaving the club for Juventus in 2012. This drew the ire of Sir Alex Ferguson who called Raiola a ‘s**t bag’.

The negative impression was also carried on by SAF’s successor David Moyes. He turned down the chance to sign Pogba in 2013 due to concerns over Raiola. (h/t The Athletic)

Financially, securing a big transfer for Pogba would be lucrative for Raiola. He has earned millions from previous transfers involving his big-name stars. (h/t Verdict)

For now, Pogba is back in training as the season nears resumption. Fans are excited to see the Frenchman partner Bruno Fernandes in the United midfield.

The two stars of the team have been getting along well in training, with the club in Phase Two of the restart which includes full-contact sessions.

The Portuguese playmaker has been a revelation since joining the club in January. His vision and ability to connect with the forwards have seen him unlock opposition defences with ease.
