Manchester United star, Christian Eriksen left Inter Milan almost three years ago. The 32-year-old was at the top of his game before he collapsed to a cardiac arrest during the 2020 EUROs.

While Eriksen survived the event an ICD device was inserted in his body because of his heart condition. Sadly, this device forced Eriksen to take a leave from Serie A, since he was no longer eligible because of the ICD device.

So, after a beautiful spell with Inter Milan, the Danish midfielder took his leave and joined Brentford in England. During his time with Milan Eriksen made 60 appearances scoring eight goals while recording three assists.

Following Milan’s title win Eriksen quickly took to Instagram and shared a congratulatory message for his former Serie A teammates. The 32-year-old clearly still has a soft spot for the Serie A team.

Eriksen and Milan’s relationship came to an end because of a health complication. There was nothing either party could do so both sides are still on good terms. Although it’s highly unlikely, there could be a chance that Milan welcome Eriksen back if he is ever allowed to remove the ICD device.

However, for the time being, the 32-year-old is preparing to win a trophy of his own. Manchester United have made it into the FA Cup finals and are very close to winning a trophy despite the terrible season they’ve had.
