£60m price tag has been set for midfielder being targeted by both Manchester United and Arsenal

Everton have set a £60m price tag on the head of Amadou Onana, both Manchester United and Arsenal have been linked to the 22-year-old midfielder.

As reported by Metro, the Red Devils are ‘very interested’ in Onana. Whereas the Independent reports that Arsenal will also be pursuing the player. However, Arteta’s side will have to make some sales before they can move on the player.

Manchester United have suffered from a lack of options in the midfield. They have been missing the presence of defensive midfielder Casemiro who has been out with an injury.

The team has also been looking to shop the former Real Madrid man. If Carlos Casemiro is moved during the summer, the team will surely turn their eyes toward Amadou Onana as a replacement.

At just 22 years of age, The Belgium national displays all the makings of a top-tier talent. He can create from the back, delivers excellent long balls, and provides cover to the defense.

With his best years yet to come, It’s exciting to imagine what the player will look like when he becomes the finished article. He has garnered a lot of interest from European clubs after a string of excellent performances this season.
