Ex-Chelsea manager is in the lead to replace Erik Ten Hag at the helm of Manchester United
As reported by The Daily Mail (h\t The Sun), Ex-Chelsea manager Graham Potter leads the list of possible replacements for Erik ten Hag should the Dutchman be sacked from Manchester United.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS have no intentions of sacking Ten Hag at the moment. However, the situation is expected to be reevaluated in the summer if the Dutchman fails to turn his season around.
Manchester United have advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup, which is also their last hope of silverware this season. Moreover, they are sitting at eight on the Premier League table and are nine points out of the top 4.
Winning the FA Cup and securing a top 4 Premier League finish will be key for Ten Hag if he wants to save his job. Even if he doesn’t win the cup the Dutchman just can’t afford to miss the European contests next season.
The pressure is on and the team is expected to make a big effort against Tottenham this Sunday. There are three points on the line and Manchester United are in desperate need of all three at the moment.
The troubles don’t stop there. Ten Hag has a gruelling schedule ahead of him and will be facing the Wolves, Aston Villa, and West Ham United during the upcoming weeks.

If Ten Hag fails, Sir Jim Ratcliffe already has Graham Potter at the top of his list. However, many wonder why the club would like to sign a manager only known for his failures at Chelsea.
