Edurne kicked off her musical career in 2006, with Sony BMG who released her first studio album named ‘Edurne’. Other songs from the album, namely ‘Amores Dormidos’, and ‘Te Falta Veneno’ also made it to the top 20.
Edurne released her second album a year later in 2007. Titled ‘Illusion’, it did reasonably well. They were at best moderate successes but made the singer a familiar face in the industry.
Three more Albums would follow in the coming years. ‘Climax’ was released in 2013 and was followed by Adrenlaina and Catarsis in 2015 and 2020 respectively. Adrenalina rose to number 6 in the SPA ratings while Catarsis peaked at number 3.
In 2013, Edurne joined the cast of the third season of Tu Cara Me Suena, a Spanish show where celebrities impersonate singers for charity. She was adjudged to be the winner with around 60% of popular votes thanks to her impersonation of Christina Aguilera and her song “Hurt” in the show’s finale.
From June to December 2014, Edurne co-presented the comedy show ‘Todo Va Bien’ on Cuatro. She was also chosen to represent Spain in the 2015 Eurovision competition.
The final was held in Vienna on 23 May 2015 and Edurne finished 21st out of 27 participants, scoring 15 points in the process. The song she used, titled ‘Amanecer’, was later included in her album Adrenalina. It was her biggest hit since her debut. She is currently a judge on Idol Kids and also hosts the Spanish show ‘Fam jam Baila en Familia’.
