Ten Hag’s comments suggest Manchester United’s decision to send Jadon Sancho on loan has worked out.
Manchester United loanee, Jadon Sancho was incredible during his last outing against Paris Saint-Germain. Borussia Dortmund took on the French giants in the UCL Semifinals and the English winger could not be stopped.
As reported by ESPN, Sancho is now the first Englishmen to ever complete more than 11 take-on in a Champions League game. The last player to achieve this feat was Lionel Messi against Man United in 2008.
His incredible performance also drew some praise from Erik ten Hag who might’ve also given a small hint about Sancho’s future. Let’s have a look at what he had to say about Sancho’s recent form. (h/t The Guardian)
“He played very well and he’s a very good player,”
“Yesterday he showed why Manchester United bought him and he showed he represents a high value for Manchester United, which is good.”
Ten Hag added that he was happy for Sancho after the way he performed in the UCL semifinals. He finished his comment by saying that the club will see what happens in the future. Now, The Dutchman says Sancho showed he represents a high value.
So even if the English winger doesn’t want to come back to Old Trafford, he can at least help the club recuperate some of the money they spent on him. Manchester United paid £73m for Jadon Sancho back in 2021.
They will surely be hoping that he keeps performing the way he has so far. If the team is able to move him for a good price their summer overhaul will get a big financial boon.

It’s really a win-win for Manchester United, if Sancho comes back they’ll have an amazing winger who can help them with their creative deficiencies.
On the other hand, if they sell him, they’ll still be able to get a good price. It’ll be interesting to see what becomes of the English winger this summer.
