Jurgen Klopp urged to beat Manchester United to Jadon Sancho

Speaking to CaughtOffside (h/t The Mirror), Fabio Borini has urged Jurgen Klopp to beat Manchester United to the signing of Jadon Sancho.

The 20-year-old is one of the finest young wingers in world football. He has been impressive at Borussia Dortmund and has caught the fancy of United as they look to put together a championship-winning team.

Despite being linked with him last summer, we were unable to make an acceptable offer and the player stayed put in Germany.

Sancho is amongst Europe’s top talents

Time has done little to quash United’s interest in signing Sancho. The Red Devils are still keen and could potentially sign him for £86m this summer.

While we might have had a free run at landing him last summer, the same might not be true this time around. Liverpool’s faltering season may prompt them to change their frontline, entering the race for Sancho.

Borini believes the Merseysiders need attacking reinforcements and has namedropped Sancho as a potential signing. He goes on to add that stealing him from Under our noses would make it all the better.

“Jadon Sancho would be a great signing and it would be fun to steal him from Man United.”

Klopp has a good relationship with Dortmund and it remains to be seen if the German will make use of it to land Sancho.

The winger has it in him to be a world-beater and he would undoubtedly improve whichever side he joins. Hopefully, he will be donning the red of United rather than Liverpool.

Liverpool have earlier beaten us to the likes of Sadio Mane and recently Diogo Jota. Hopefully, the buck ends there and John Murtough can get the better of Michael Edwards this summer.
