Manchester United set yet another embarrassing record following their humbling at the hands of Crystal Palace
Manchester United had absolutely no answer for Crytal Palace who obliterated Erik ten Hag’s team in a 4-0 victory last night. The Red Devils couldn’t stop the Eagles’ constant attack and solid defence.
The Dutchman was playing with a highly depleted squad. He had none of his first-choice defenders so Jonny Evans and Casemiro started at centre-back. The Brazilian had his worst game of the season as well and made tons of poor decisions.
United were completely out of it throughout the whole game and struggled their way to 13 Premier League losses in a season. As pointed out by Squawka this is the most that Manchester United have ever lost in a single PL season.
Erik ten Hag has once again led this Man United squad to the wrong side of history. At a time when results are his only saving grace the Dutchman just can’t seem to put one up anymore. This has to be the worst football that the Red Devils have ever played.
A lot needs to change next season but before that, something needs to change right now. If the team wins their last few games they might finish with a top six or seven spot and a win against Man City will give them the FA Cup.
Man United can still get something out of what has otherwise been an absolute disaster for them. The team also have big plans for the summer and these last few games will determine whether or not they play in the Europa League. Qualifying is a must to sign all the big names they’ve been looking at.
