Reports suggest Manchester United have met out-of-favour star who is currently playing in Germany
As reported by The Guardian, Manchester United have been in talks with out-of-favour star, Jadon Sancho. The 24-year-old has been having quite a grand time during his second stint with Borussia Dortmund.
His return to Germany has allowed the young star to get back into form. Sancho’s trajectory was spiralling downwards while he was still at Old Trafford. There is no trace of the player he is right now in the player Sancho becomes when playing for Man United.
There have been a lot of questions regarding the 24-year-old’s future. Talk suggests that United will be looking to move on from Sancho during the summer, but if he continues to perform this way they could reintegrate him back into the team.
Erik ten Hag might not stay and even if he does, the club has taken steps to end the issues between the two. The Dutchman and Sancho had a falling out after Sancho publicly called out the manager on X.
As a result of his actions, the 24-year-old was cut from the squad and had spent four months on the sidelines before Borussia Dortmund came calling in January. Well, thanks to Sancho’s efforts the German side will now be playing in the Champions League finals.
This will bring a great financial boon to the club and they could move to keep Sancho in Germany past this season. However, Man United will not be letting the 24-year-old winger go for cheap.
