Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag takes stance on future amidst interest from Bayern Munich

Erik ten Hag shares his condition for leaving Manchester United for Bayern Munich job next summer

As reported by The Mirror, Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag would only be interested in heading over to Bayern Munich If Sir Jim Ratcliffe makes it absolutely certain that the Dutchman is not wanted at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag has been enduring a horrendous season at the helm of United and his most recent 4-0 loss against Crystal Palace will only add to the enormous pressure he’s under. The Dutchman’s squad has been plagued with injuries so he currently has something to hide behind.

Manchester United currently have 11 players out due to injury. Surely the injury plague affecting Old Trafford has had a major effect on the team this season. However, the results shouldn’t be as bad as they are.

The Red Devils were out of Europe before January, and their defence of the League Cup also ended in disaster. The only time this team has strung together any results was when 2024 started and Rasmus Hojlund had suddenly become the best striker in the world.

However, that was more out of luck than skill and relying too much on the former has destroyed United’s season. With the club in such poor form, Erik ten Hag’s job is definitely not safe.

But, if Sir Jim Ratcliffe says he doesn’t want the Dutchman we might get to see Ten Hag take his talents to Germany. It is wild to imagine a club like Bayern who are so used to winning trophies would want Erik ten Hag after his recent performances.
