“It is for all of us” – Solskjaer makes use of exit-linked star to fire a warning to his players

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer fires a warning to Manchester Untied wantaway Paul Pogba

According to The Express, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reminded Paul Pogba that he is not bigger than the club.

The warning is also directed to other United stars. It comes after French international’s agent Mino Raiola came out with claims that his client is keen on leaving the club.

“Absolutely no-one is and Paul knows this. It is not only Paul, it is for all of us.”

While Solskjaer does admit Pogba has the right attitude, it would appear that the Norwegian wants his players to get their priorities right.

“Man United is about being in a team. I would not stand for anyone thinking he is bigger than Man United because no-one is.”

Pogba was initially amongst United’s most promising youth players before moving to Juventus in 2012. Having come up during Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign, the Frenchman will be well versed with the United way.

“Paul was here as a kid in the under-18s, we signed him early on, he comes with the Man United DNA in him.”

Solskjaer added that Pogba is a player with ambition and backs it up with his application in training. The Norwegian appears to have no qualms about the player’s attitude as such.

Mino Raiola revealed that Pogba is keen to leave United

Juventus are once again among the frontrunners to land Pogba. The 27-year-old spent four years in Turin before rejoining with United in 2016.

It can be said that his second coming has been rather underwhelming with the occasional sprinkle of magic. Pogba’s current deal at United runs until 2022.

The club is always more important than the player

While it is normal for a player to want to leave a club and seek his fortunes elsewhere, Raiola’s revelations could have been handled better.

It does not serve any party involved to air their dirty laundry in public. Solskjaer is right to get the message across that United comes first, after all, it is the name on the front that matters.
