Solskjaer tips Marcus Rashford to go down as a Manchester United great
According to The Sun, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has backed Marcus Rashford to go down in history books as a Manchester United legend.
The 23-year-old has belied his years to bring hope to supporters both on and off the field.
Rashford’s contributions to end child hunger in the UK is well documented. Add to it, his heroics on the football field for United, one has a real role model to look up to.
Solskjaer has praised the striker’s ability to balance his heroics both on and off the field. Neither have come at the cost of the other and is a testament to Rashford’s commitment as a player and a hero of social justice.
“He has taken on this responsibility in a fantastic way and balanced it really well with his football.”
Having come through the ranks at Old Trafford, Rashford is a United lad through and through. Solskjaer believes he has the talent do down in history as a club hero.
“Marcus is talented enough, grounded enough and driven enough to be a club legend.”
Solskjaer also went on to add how Rashford’s upbringing help mould him into the person he is today. The player’s urge to help the needy comes from having a similarly tough time growing up.
“He knows what they are going through and what he has done is exceptional.”
Rashford’s efforts off the pitch have endeared him to even opposition teams and supporters. One of our best players on the pitch, he looks to be on his way to prove Solskjaer right.
