Manchester United could be planning another raid on Man City this summer

As reported by Italian publication, TuttoJuve, Manchester United are interested in signing Man City youngster, Yan Couto. The 21-year-old has been in stellar form during his loan spell with Girona this season.

Couto has made 38 appearances recording a total of two goals and 10 assists for the La Liga side. However, despite his fine form, the 21-year-old will likely not be getting a lot of minutes of he returns to play under Pep Guardiola.

The Spanish manager could definitely use a player like Couto but he is unlikely to start the youngster over the likes of Kyle Walker, Rico Lewis, and John Stones. So, the best option is to turn a quick profit through the Brazilian defender.

His fine form on loan will allow City to extract a decent amount of money for Couto. Following the signing of Omar Berrada Manchester United are once again planning on raiding the Man City camp, this time it’ll be for Couto.

The 21-year-old will cost around €40m which is an affordable sum for the Red Devils. However, the price could go up if their local rivals come knocking on the door. So, United will have to consider that before they approach the Brazilian.

Moreover, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also reportedly interested in Couto, so the Red Devils will not be traveling an easy road as they try and sign the 21-year-old RB this summer.
