Twitter reacts as Marcus Rashford congratulates Antony Martial
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford returned to Old Trafford for the first time since January against Sheffield United.
It was a day to remember for Anthony Martial who scored the club’s first hat-trick in seven years.
Although he did not get on the scoresheet, striker Marcus Rashford more than did his part in the attack. The United ace provided two assists on the night and could have even scored a brace himself.
Following the match, he took to Twitter to congratulate his teammate for a well-taken treble. Rashford also expressed his happiness at being back at Old Trafford after a five-month absence.
The England star has been in the news for his activities off the pitch. With football back on the agenda, he is showing he is a hero on the pitch as well.
The 22-year-old has 19 goals this season and is the club’s joint top scorer, along with Martial. With potentially 13 more games to go, he will have plenty of opportunities to add to his tally.
