“Thank you LVG” – Several fans react as prolific Man United duo reach impressive milestone

Twitter reacts as Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford break 20 goal barrier apiece for Manchester United

Manchester United’s emphatic win over Bournemouth broke a club hoodoo for the first time in nearly 10 years.

Goals by Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford took their respective tallies for the season to 20 apiece. A stat that has not been achieved since the 2010-11 season.

Dimitar Berbatov scored 21 while Javier Hernandez pipped in with 20 as the Red Devils won the Premier League. A similar double act has been reached due to the prolific partnership between Martial and Rashford.

It is also the first time since the days of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez that two players have scored double figures exclusively at Old Trafford.

Incredibly, Mason Greenwood took his tally to 15. With potentially 11 games to go in the season, he could join our sensational duo in the 20+ club. United have never had three 20+ scorers in the same season in the EPL era.

It was a day for records as Bruno Fernandes registered his 10th goal contribution in the league in only his 9th game. A feat only matched by Eric Cantona and Robin van Persie.

A number of fans were left impressed by the goalscoring exploits of our fearsome duo. Trio if you include Greenwood.

We take a look at how they reacted on Twitter.
