Borussia Dortmund reveal asking price for Jadon Sancho

According to German publication Bild (h/t Express), Borussia Dortmund have revealed their asking price for Manchester United target Jadon Sancho.

The Bundesliga giants have informed United that they are willing to talk only if their asking price of £115million is met. This will come as a setback for the Red Devils as Ed Woodward revealed it is unlikely that we will spend huge amounts this summer.

The coronavirus pandemic has affected the club’s finances. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to make do with a lower transfer kitty. This means the club can only go for Sancho if the price is reduced.

Another condition put forward by Dortmund is that the transfer will have to wait until August if at all. (h/t Express)

The Germans are hopeful of convincing Sancho to stay and have not yet given up on that hope. With this summer’s window set to go on until October 5, there is plenty of time.

Sancho, for his part, is keen to return to England. According to the report, there is mutual love between United and Sancho, with the duo making each other their first choice.

Sancho is one of the best young players in world football. He will definitely add another dimension to our attack.

The prospect of the youngster appearing alongside Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford is what dreams are made of.
