Manchester United will only be able to offload Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund on one condition
According to Fabrizio Romano, Borussia Dortmund are looking to bring Jadon Sancho back from Manchester United. But, a deal between the two will only be struck on one condition.
The German side is only looking to get the English winger back on loan. The ball is now in the Red Devils’ court. It seems like they won’t be able to go ahead with the deal if Man United reject a proposition for a loan.
One reason why the Old Trafford squad won’t be too keen on a loan deal is the fee that they paid for Sancho. The 23-year-old came with a heavy price tag of £73m and the club will be reluctant to let him go for free.
A move back to Dortmund could help Jadon Sancho get back to his former self. Over 137 appearances for the German side, he recorded a total of 50 goals and 64 assists (Transfermarkt). BVB Sancho was one of the best players in the world.
His stint with Manchester United hasn’t been as impressive. So far he has made 82 appearances for the club and is unlikely to make any more. Over that time he has recorded 12 goals and six assists for the team (Transfermarkt).
If Manchester United can get Dortmund to pay them a fee for the loan the deal might go through. The two clubs are currently in contact over the 23-year-old and his future is still undecided.

A move away from Manchester United will be beneficial for both Sancho and the club. Hopefully, the Red Devils will be able to work out a deal with Dortmund or another suitor will soon be found for the 23-year-old.
