Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich is keeping his options open regarding the future amidst interest from Manchester United, according to De Telegraaf (h/t Manchester Evening News).

The midfielder is open to moving to the Premier League in the ongoing transfer window, with the Red Devils keeping tabs on him. Apart from the Old Trafford side, English top-flight rivals Liverpool also have the Holland national on their radar.

To that end, the 21-year-old could leave the Bundesliga giants this summer, even on a temporary basis. If the Bavarians cannot come to an agreement over a permanent deal, then a loan is an option.

Gravenberch was one of the most highly sought-after talents last summer and ended up joining Bayern. However, the midfielder has struggled for opportunities at the Allianz Arena side.

In the previous campaign, he hardly got a chance to be in the Bavarians’ starting lineup. The Holland international ended up starting in just three league games in the 2022/23 term. In the current campaign, he has remained on the bench in the two matches Thomas Tuchel’s team have played.

Gravenberch made his way through the youth ranks at Ajax Amsterdam. The midfielder was given his breakthrough at the Eredivisie outfit by Erik ten Hag.

Now, the Dutch manager is at United. The gaffer has added the likes of Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Mason Mount to the Red Devils’ ranks since last summer.

However, we still seemingly lack depth in the middle of the park. Fred has left for Fenerbahce, while it looks like Ten Hag does not trust Scott McTominay in the team. Donny van de Beek has also not lived up to the mark in Manchester.

As a result, reinforcing the engine room seems like one of the priorities for the Old Trafford side in the ongoing transfer window. However, will Gravenberch end up reuniting with the Dutch manager in Manchester? Only time will tell.
