FC Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is ready for a move to Manchester United

According to BILD journalist Christian Falk (h/t Manchester Evening News), FC Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is ready to move to Manchester United.

United are in the market for a midfielder and are looking at a number of targets before the summer transfer window closes.

Gravenberch is one of the names on the list and recent claims suggest that the player is keen on a move to United, with Liverpool also interested in the player.

Gravenberch has worked previously under Erik Ten Hag in their successful time at Ajax and his move to Germany has not given him the same level of success.

The Dutch midfielder has barely featured for the Bundesliga champions under Thomas Tuchel and even before under Julien Nagelsmann.

He is open to a move away from Bayern but the German club are not willing to sell him so far in the transfer window.

However, there is still a chance of a transfer happening before the transfer window closes with United and Liverpool interested in the player.

United are in desperate need of a 6 who can complement Casemiro and be the link between defence and attack. Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat is another name mentioned.

At the same time, he would know the things demanded by Ten Hag from his midfielders and would not take much time to adapt to the new environment.

However, the fact that he has not been playing much for Bayern could prove to be a task and whether the midfielder would be match fit or not if a move takes fruition.
