Jadon Sancho valued at around £45 million by Manchester United this summer
Manchester United have set a price tag of around £45 million on the head of Jadon Sancho in the ongoing transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
The Red Devils will look to fill up their coffers in order to raise funds for this summer. To that end, the England international has been identified as one of the players the Old Trafford side could part ways with.
Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial are some of the other names who have been made available on the market. But not all of them are expected to depart.
The Old Trafford side have no intention of forcing the 23-year-old and the others out of the club. The club are willing to let them stay and fight for their place in the team next season.
United signed Sancho in the summer of 2021 from Borussia Dortmund. Unfortunately, the English national has been unable to live up to the expectations at the Old Trafford side so far.
In the last two seasons, the forward has been handed many opportunities to prove himself. However, the 23-year-old has failed to take those chances and has not made a big enough impact in Manchester so far.
Erik ten Hag trusted Snacho after being appointed head coach last summer. But the English national was unable to repay that faith in the 2022/23 campaign.
In contrast, a player like Alejandro Garnacho has shown a lot more potential for the Red Devils. Comparing him to the former Dortmund star, the Argentina international was more direct and threatening when the gaffer called upon him last season.

Therefore, it seems like United have accepted the fact that they will have to take a big hit if Sancho is to be sold. However, we paid a lot for him and the 23-year-old could evidently do with another year to prove his abilities at the club.
