Manchester United offered the opportunity to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic
According to 90min (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United have been offered the opportunity to sign Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic.
Juventus find themselves in one of the most precarious situations they have been in. The Italian club have been docked 15 points for financial irregularity and have now dropped to the 10th spot in Serie A.
As things stand, the Old Lady are no longer a club in the Champions League spots. They are not even close to being in the top four and could be in a huge mess. They might have to sell some of their big names and Vlahovic is one of them.
The Serbian striker joined Juventus last January from Fiorentina. The talented striker has scored a lot of goals in Serie A and has established himself as one of the most prolific goalscorers in Europe. He would be a good signing for any club he goes to.
Now, it looks like Vlahovic has been offered to a number of top clubs. Chelsea, PSG and Arsenal have also been contacted about the 22-year-old striker. The Serbian forward would be a good fit for any of those clubs.
Manchester United have signed Wout Weghorst on loan for the rest of the season. However, the Dutchman is just a stop-gap arrangement and is expected to be at Old Trafford for only the rest of this season.
Vlahovic could be the answer to our long-term issues in the number nine position. The talented striker could just be the player to fill in the void at Old Trafford. He might take some time to adapt to the Premier League.
There has been a few question marks over his ability to be consistent for persistent periods. Vlahovic is extremely talented but sometimes, he gets caught in a rut where he is unable to find the back of the net for a period of time.

It remains to be seen how this Vlahovic situation develops. At the right price, he will be a great signing and only time will tell if he ends up at Old Trafford.
