Dusan Vlahovic will not push for Juventus exit amidst Manchester United interest

Manchester United target Dusan Vlahovic will not push for a move away from Juventus in the ongoing transfer window, according to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb.

The Serbia international is attracting interest from the Red Devils, who are one of the teams to have contacted his representatives. French champions Paris Saint-Germain also have their eyes on the striker.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have the 23-year-old on their radar as well. The Bavarians have even held discussions with the Bianconeri. However, the Bavarians’ proposal was not to the Serie A giants’ liking.

Juventus signed Vlahovic in January 2022 from Fiorentina after his impressive form. However, the Serbian have been unable to live up to the expectations at the Allianz Stadium side and has struggled.

But the 23-year-old is determined to turn things around at the Bianconeri. Although, if the right proposal were to arrive, the forward and the Old Lady would consider parting ways.

Vlahovic’s pedigree has faltered a bit in recent months. The Serbian has been unable to showcase his prolificity at the Italian outfit. Injuries have not helped his cause, either.

At United, goalscoring was an issue for Erik ten Hag’s team last season. The gaffer was only able to rely on Marcus Rashford to find the back of the net on a consistent basis.

While the 25-year-old was able to deliver, he did lose a bit of steam towards the end of the 2022/23 term. The Dutch manager could not count on the likes of Antony, Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho to make a big enough impact.

Therefore, we evidently need to add more firepower to our ranks ahead of the upcoming campaign. The Old Trafford side seemingly cannot go into next season with an injury-prone Martial as our only natural striker. But is Vlahovic the answer to our problems? It remains to be seen.
