Jadon Sancho yet to return to Manchester United training ahead of Burnley clash in the Carabao Cup
Manchester United star Jadon Sancho is yet to return to training at the club as the Red Devils are set to take on Burnley in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Old Trafford side will take on the Clarets on Wednesday (21 December) at home. However, we will be without the 22-year-old, who has been missing from the Carrington training complex.
Sancho was not part of United’s recent training camp in Spain. The Red Devils took on La Liga sides Cadiz and Real Betis in preparation for the resumption of club football after the 2022 World Cup.

Erik ten Hag had already stated that the 22-year-old would miss the friendlies. The former Borussia Dortmund star started an individual training programme in Holland a few weeks back.
The forward signed for the Old Trafford side last year from BVB. However, the youngster has been unable to replicate what he did in Germany in the Premier League.
Sancho moved to the Bundesliga outfit in the summer of 2017 from Manchester City. Over time, he became one of the most creative players in Germany.

Unfortunately, that has not been the case for the 22-year-old in England. His debut season with the Manchester-based club was underwhelming.
While the forward had seemingly found his feet under Ten Hag, in recent fixtures, the youngster has been unable to make an impact. Sancho last featured for United against Chelsea in the English top flight. We drew the game 1-1 after Casemiro’s stoppage-time equaliser.
