Spanish giants Real Madrid are confident of securing the transfer of Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham ahead of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, according to The Sun.

Los Blancos feel they are close to the 19-year-old’s signature for a deal worth over £100 million. The La Liga outfit are optimistic about the England international snubbing the Premier League for a move to Spain in the summer of 2023.

In the English top flight, Manchester City are also eyeing the midfielder, while French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.

Bellingham previously rejected the Red Devils during his Birmingham City days. The 19-year-old instead opted to move to Germany.

Since joining the Bundesliga giants, the England international has thrived and become one of the biggest prospects in football. The midfielder has taken his game to the next level in the current campaign.

Liverpool are keen on Bellingham. Jurgen Klopp believes the midfielder is the next big thing. On the other hand, Chelsea evidently need to bolster their engine room as well, with the likes of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho in the last year of their current contracts.

As for Madrid, they signed Aurelien Tchouameni in the summer of 2022. They also boast the likes of Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde. Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are also still at the club.

Bellingham caught a lot of people’s eyes after his performances at the 2022 World Cup. The midfielder was one of England’s best players in Qatar.

United signed Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in the recent transfer window. They are world-class players, but the 19-year-old is a generational talent. However, it will seemingly be a tough ask for the Red Devils to get a hold of the Dortmund star, considering the interest he is generating.
