Liverpool and Manchester United interested in Sporting CP forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku
Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in Sporting CP forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, according to Portuguese outlet O Jogo (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Ghana international has turned many heads, including those of Erik ten Hag and Jurgen Klopp. Everton are also interested in the 18-year-old. And he will be watched by the three sides during the World Cup.
Fatawu featured for the Black Stars during the Africa Cup of Nations. And Ghana are set to take on Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in Group H in Qatar.

The 18-year-old made his debut for the Dragoes in the Primeira Liga against Rio Ave in August. He came on as a substitute in the 80th minute in a 3-0 win. He also played his first Champions League minutes against Olympique Marseille in October.
Overall, Fatawu has featured six times for Sporting CP in all competitions in the current campaign. The left-footed forward has played on the right wing as well as in the number 10 position under Ruben Amorim.
Erik ten Hag has a few youngsters at his disposal at United. Anthony Elanga broke into the first team last season under Ralf Rangnick. The 20-year-old brought industry to the side.

The Sweden international is a hard-working wide player. And with other senior stars underperforming in the previous campaign, he got a run-in in the side.
However, Elanga has not been able to get into the starting lineup since the arrival of Antony to the Old Trafford side. Alejandro Garnacho is another star who has broken out in recent weeks. The 18-year-old scored his first goal for the Red Devils against Real Sociedad in the Europa League.
