Denmark international Christian Eriksen wins Player of the Month for September at Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has won September Player of the Month for the Red Devils, via the club’s official Twitter. The 30-year-old has started every game for the Old Trafford side this month.

Eriksen arrived at United on a free transfer in the recent transfer window. The Danish national had signed a short-term deal with Brentford last season.

The 30-year-old had been out of competitive action since the incident at Euro 2020. However, Eriksen made his way back to the Premier League and impressed with the Bees.

Erik ten Hag’s side pursued his signature in the summer of 2022. And the Denmark international has been a revelation. The 30-year-old has made an immediate impact in the team.

In September, Eriksen has been involved in the two PL and Europa League fixtures. In the English top flight, the Denmark international played every minute against Leicester City and Arsenal.

The 30-year-old recorded his first assist for United against the Gunners. Arsenal had been on a perfect run before visiting Old Trafford. The North London side lost 3-1 and the Danish national set up Marcus Rashford for the third goal.

Our first UEL fixture of the campaign did not end with the result fans would have hoped for. Eriksen played the first 45 minutes of the fixture. The Red Devils ended up losing 1-0.

Sheriff Tiraspol were our last opponent this month. And the 30-year-old midfielder assisted Jadon Sancho in breaking the deadlock. The Danish national once again put in a decent shift.

At the moment, Eriksen is on international duty with Denmark. The 30-year-old scored a brilliant goal against Croatia in his national side’s 2-1 defeat recently. United face Manchester City next in the league. Fans will hope the midfielder continues his fine form at the Etihad Stadium.
