Manchester United flop could leave Old Trafford this summer

Manchester United star will not be heading to Galatasaray this season

According to ESPN, Manchester United star, Christian Eriksen will not be joining Galatasaray this season. The Turkish club will be disappointed to know that a deal before the transfer deadline is not possible.

The Red Devils are expected to move on from the 31-year-old midfielder during the summer. The club will be putting some major plans into action during the summer and it seems like Eriksen is not a part of those plans.

However, Turkish club Galatasaray might not be able to sign the English midfielder during the summer either. Eriksen is very highly rated at Brentford and could join them when his time at Old Trafford is up.

Eriksen has enjoyed a ton of success in the Premier League. Before he joined Inter Milan, the English midfielder was a superstar playing for Tottenham Hotspur.

Through 305 appearances for the Spurs, Eriksen recorded a sensational 90 assists and 69 goals. This just goes to show how well he has been able to adapt to the kind of football being played in the Premier League.

He was still in his prime when he joined Inter so the prospect of a new challenge makes sense. However, now that Eriksen is 31 he will likely be looking to play it safe and look for a club in the Premier League.
