Manchester United are in quite a delicate situation given that Pogba’s contract ends next season. The midfielder has hit peak form for both club and county, with just one year left on his current deal. A stellar personal campaign for France in the Euros has only amped up the interest in the enigmatic French star.
United don’t really have too many favourable options in this case. They can cash in on him now and take the fee to get a replacement. The other option is that they can look to keep him with the hope that he signs an extension.
Barcelona are the latest club to show an interest in the World Cup winner. However, they are looking at a possible swap deal given the financial mess they are in.
