Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been cracking all the headlines of late. Unfortunately for all the club’s faithful, it is not because of the performance he is delivering, but because of him being linked with a move away from the club.

According to several sources, Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid are planning a big overhaul over the summer and have graded Paul as the one who is topping their transfer wish-list. Since the turn of the year, Pogba has seen his a major blip in his first-team action after a string of poor performances and this literally put fuel to the fire – the fire of him leaving Old Trafford for the second time in his career and the fire of him having a rift with his manager

The story of Real’s desire to sign Pogba is almost two years old. Some six months before signing for Manchester United, the midfielder’s agent Mino Raiola had confirmed that a deal regarding his client’s move to Bernabeu is “in the initial phase of negotiations.”

But the deal failed to progress and Pérez since started feeling lowly of Raiola. And this is something that might hinder Real’s chances of signing Pogba simply because “Raiola is not the type of agent with whom Florentino would like to interact.” Diario Gol have underlined two factors in Perez’s hatred of Raiola and the utmost being the high fee he carries with him in almost every one of his high-profile deals. Jotting down the fact, what gives the perfect specimen of Perez’s fed-up relationship with Raiola is the fact that no one from Real’s squad is associated with the Dutch agent.

So maybe, Barcelona is a viable option.
