Manchester United came up short once again as they took on Burnley in what seemed to be a must-win game for Erik ten Hag’s side. The Red Devils did most things right but the game still ended 1-1.

After a long time, we saw Erik ten Hag’s team keep possession of the ball and actually try to create chances. It was a good departure from their usual style of play. Antony also scored his first Premier League goal of this season.

However, Burnley were quick to strike back and Manchester United were left heartbroken once again. Alejandro Garnacho was distraught after the draw and took to Instagram to make a plea to the Old Trafford crowd.

Garnacho was quick to admit that this season has been difficult for the team and fans alike. However, he believes that the most important part of the season is yet to come and everyone needs to stick together.

While he may want the fans to back the team, the young Argentine needs to understand just how hard it is to be a Man United fan these days. The team has failed on all ends and will not even get to play Champions League football next season.

After such a terrible performance from them, it is unfair to ask the fans to back them. Not because they’ve lost a lot but more so because this team had the tools to succeed and still failed.

The draw against Burnley makes things extremely difficult for Erik ten Hag.
