Transfer News: Manchester United could have to wait till 2022 for Paulo Dybala

According to transfer news from Sport Witness, Manchester United could have to wait till 2022 for Paulo Dybala. The Argentine is keen on exiting Juventus as a free agent with his contract running out next year.

The Argentine ace has endured a difficult season, where he has struggled with both injuries and a loss of form. With just four goals and two assists in 17 games, he has been far from his best this campaign.

Dybala recently returned to the side from injury and managed to bag a goal against Napoli. However, exit links still remain with the bigger question being whether he chooses to move out this year or wait another season and walk out for free in 2022.

With Juventus likely to demand over €50m for the forward and in this situation, no club can really afford to pay that. Hence, swap deals are being talked about and in case a deal were to be agreed between United, Juve would want Paul Pogba in exchange.

Hence, Manchester United might just let this boil and wait for another season where they don’t have to shell out anything or give away a player.

Yes, there are other teams such as Inter Milan, PSG and Atletico Madrid in the hunt for him but it does not make sense to spend on a player they can get for free in a year’s time.
