Marcus Rashford namedrops Manchester United target Jadon Sancho for interesting question
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford may have dropped a hint regarding one player we have been heavily linked with in the past.
The United ace was participating in an impromptu Q and A on Twitter when he was asked who his favourite Bundesliga player is. The 23-year-old not only answered Jadon Sancho but also tagged the player on Twitter.
This revelation clearly gave a few fans hope that the flying winger could be on his way to Old Trafford. United’s pursuit of Sancho was the saga of last summer, despite a number of twists and turns, the player stayed put in Germany.
While the club still appears to retain interest, Sancho is far from the only Dortmund player on United’s radar. The Red Devils are among a number of clubs keeping tabs on Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, who is scoring for fun at Signal Iduna Park.
Sancho could very well be available for a cheaper fee this summer. However, it may still be out of reach for a United side who need to be smart in the summer window.
The coronavirus pandemic has not spared us and the need for the hour is for the club to be smart and not extravagant.

While Rashford clearly holds Sancho in high praise, whether the duo will play together in Red is debatable.
Sancho is clearly a world-class talent and would add much to our right-wing. However, the club has a number of positions to strengthen this summer. Whether Sancho is still the biggest priority remains to be seen.
