With Sheffield attempting to salvage a draw, Ethan Ampadu gave away a foul that saw Untied gain posession of the ball.

Wilder felt wronged and was furious at referee Chris Wilder. Solskjaer did not take too kindly to his counterpart’s reaction and responded in kind.

The argument took a backseat at full-time when both managers appeared to reconcile. Solskjaer admitted the same in his post-match presser.

“I maybe went overboard with my words and have apologised. We’ll have a drink after.”

Wilder’s reaction is understandable given how his side has struggled his season. However, what happens on the pitch should stay on the pitch. To their credit, both managers have done just that.
