Marcus Rashford opens up on how Manchester United can challenge for the Premier League title
Speaking to Amazon Prime Video (h/t MEN), Marcus Rashford has said that he believes Manchester United will need to show more consistency at Old Trafford if they are serious about competing for the Premier League title.
Thursday night’s win over Sheffield United was our sixth consecutive win on the road. The victory saw us climb to within five points of Liverpool with a game in hand.
The fact that we find ourselves in contention given our poor home form is incredible.

Only Brighton & Hove Albion and Sheffield United have won lesser games at home than us in the Premier League this season. United have just won once in the Premier League so far this season at Old Trafford.
Our away form could not have been any different. United have won all six away games so far. Rashford believes we will have to find parity in order to challenge for the title.
“We have to perform better at home, pick up more points. We take it one game at a time and try to pick up points.”

There is still a long way to go before the Premier League title is decided. With 13 more homes games left in the season, United have enough time to turn the abysmal record at Old Trafford around.
“It’s early in the season, there’s a lot of football to be played, there will be ups and downs for everyone, we need to find consistency at home and we’ll see where we are at the end of the season.”
Finding consistency at home will give us a key advantage going into the new year. While it does not guarantee us the title, it will not do our chances any harm.
