Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba interact on Instagram

Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba have formed an excellent partnership on the pitch. It appears they do so off it as well.

Morale is high in the Manchester United setup given the excellent run of form. United are within touching distance of Chelsea in third and are primed to leap above them if they slip up.

Following the victory over Crystal Palace, Pogba took to Instagram to comment on the matter. He celebrated the win while also called for the team to win the remaining two games.

Fernandes is not one to lose an opportunity and immediately responded. The second picture in the gallery showed Pogba controlling the ball mid-air.

This prompted the Portuguese sensation to ask if it really was Pogba followed by a thinking emoticon.

It made for interesting viewing as a number of fans were amused by the duo’s bonhomie. Much was expected of the dream pairing before they took to the field together. It is fair to say that all that wait was worth it.

Fernandes is yet to lose a game as a United player. He became the first United star since Cristiano Ronaldo to win consecutive PL Player of the Month Awards.

With a top-four finish and two trophies still to play for, the season could yet end on a spectacular note. It presents a marked difference from earlier in the season where we looked to be going nowhere.

Pogba too has experienced an upturn in form since his return from injury. He looks happier than he has in recent times and is closing in on his best.
