Twitter reacts as ace midfielder sweeps monthly awards
According to the club’s official site, Manchester United maestro Bruno Fernandes has won the club’s goal of the month award.
This adds to his player of the month award to complete a clean sweep for the month of June.
The midfielder’s brilliant second goal against Brighton and Hove Albion on 30th June came out on top of a poll in the official application. It beat off stiff competition from Anthony Martial’s audacious chip against Sheffield United.
The Portuguese sensation has enjoyed an excellent start to life at Old Trafford. He has single-handedly galvanized the squad and taken them up a level.
Having won the club’s player of the month three times now, his impact is not lost on the fans. This is, however, his first goal of the month gong. If current form is anything to go by, it won’t be his last.
