Twitter reacts to Brandon Williams’ incredible gesture to his dad
Manchester United starlet Brandon Williams is one of the club’s best upcoming youngsters.
The 19-year-old left-back has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Old Trafford. He has played 26 times in all competitions since being given his debut by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
His performances saw him get rewarded with a new contract worth £40,000 a week last October. The youngster showed he has his priorities straight by purchasing a car for his father.
It was revealed in a video shared on social media on Thursday. Williams is seen handing over the keys to a black Mercedes 4×4 to his father.
The player’s father is shown walking out to the street and noticing the car as everyone around him yells ‘happy birthday’. This disbelief turns to joy as he realizes exactly what his son has done for him. It is followed by a touching scene where the youngster hands his father the keys.
Having come up through humble origins, Williams is on his way to becoming a star at Old Trafford. It is reassuring to know that he has not forgotten where he came from. Hopefully, he never will.
