Manchester United Ready To Break The British Transfer Record Bid To Sign This French Sensation

Manchester United are attempting to break another British transfer record as reports have emerged that the club has tabled a massive £60 million bid for Paul Pogba.

According to the Sun, Red Devils are keen to get back their old academy graduate Paul Pogba. Pogba left Manchester United in 2012 due to lack of opportunities and after joining Juventus the player has won four Serie A titles so far. There has been indications that the player could not get along with Sir Alex Ferguson at that time and now that Jose Mourinho has taken over the managerial seat the Frenchman may be open to a move back to his old club.

Two seasons ago, United bought Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid for a British transfer record of £59 million and if the report from the Sun is true then they are likely to break that record in pursuit of Pogba. United has a lot of work to be done in the midfield considering Carrick is already 34 and the 32 year old Bastian Schweinsteiger has failed to impress.
