Manchester United could be in trouble as Liverpool star could return for their clash against the Reds.

Liverpool will be taking on Manchester United for their FA Cup quarter-final fixture. It’ll be a big game for both teams. On one hand, we have the Red Devils who are trying to grab some silverware. On the other, there are Jurgen Klopp‘s men who want to decorate the trophy cabinet for his farewell.

While one team fights for survival the other fights for glory. Their last meeting was a close contest on paper. However, anyone who watched the game should be able to tell that Liverpool were clearly the better side last time out.

While they were unlucky to get the winning touch, the Reds created a lot of chances and almost punished United for their lacklustre defence. Now, Klopp says Liverpool star, Ibrahima Konate could be back for the game against Manchester United. Let’s have a look. (h/t Liverpool Echo)

“Ibou has a chance for United,”

“A good chance. Our injury situation is still awful”

Klopp added that he could put forward a strong starting XI just going off all the players that are out due to injury at the moment. So, while Liverpool will be short-handed, their squad still looks better than Erik ten Hag’s.

The Dutchman might also get Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount before their clash against the Reds. However, Mount is yet to make an impact and the young Dane could be rusty since he’s been away for weeks.

Whatever the case may be Manchester United absolutely need to win against Liverpool.
