Man United could replace Erik ten Hag with Chelsea flop.

As reported by Sky Sports, Manchester United are looking to replace Erik ten Hag with Chelsea flop, Graham Potter. The news states that Potter has already had a meeting with INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

It is also being reported that the United locker room feels that the Dutchman has resigned himself to the sack. It seems like things are as bad as they have ever been this season. The possibility of Erik ten Hag being axed is now very real.

The Dutchman has failed time after time this season. It can be said that he was dealing with a lot of injuries. However, flopping out of the UCL, being sixth in the Premier League and getting kicked out of the Carabao Cup is not something that fits a club as big as Manchester United.

However, this news should be taken with a grain of salt as we have heard no official word on the statements. Erik ten Hag still might be able to save himself. If West Ham ends up winning the Europa League, the Red Devils will qualify for the UCL even if they are in sixth.

Moreover, the team is still fighting in the FA Cup. They are all set to take on Coventry City for the Semi-Finals and a victory will get the Dutchman one step closer to saving himself. But, Erik ten Hag’s team has no consistency.

It is also a bit shocking that the team is considering Graham Potter. He wasn’t exactly a hit at with the Blues and lost 11 out of the 31 games he managed. Surely Man United will not be going after someone who flopped as hard as he did with Chelsea.
