Di’Shon Bernard says he is still in contact with one Manchester United starlet
Former Manchester United, Di’Shon Bernard only ever got to make one appearance for the Red Devils. The now 23-year-old made his debut while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was still at the helm. Unfortunately, his maiden appearance was nothing to remember.
The only thing that Bernard did that game was score an own goal which led to Manchester United losing the game. However, the Jamaican defender still remembers his time at Old Trafford with a fondness.
He recently spoke to Manchester Evening News and spoke about the culture that Erik ten Hag is creating at the club. Moreover, he also mentioned he is still in contact with Omari Forson who was with him in the academy. Let’s have a look.
“I still keep in contact with Omari,”
“He was in digs with me when he first came to United, so I still keep in contact with him. I am proud to see what he’s doing, getting a few minutes here and there.”
He shed light on Forson’s debut for United. Unfortunately for the English forward the Red Devils ended up dropping the game against Fulham. Omari did well for his first game though and completed over 90% of his passes.
Bernard spoke about himself as well. He says that not everyone who plays for Manchester United is gonna make it. All people have a different journey and the Jamaican seems to be very happy with his own.
Bernard says it has been a mixed season for him but he’s been happy with the amount of playing time that he’s getting.
