Manchester United are reportedly ready to spend €70m for Premier League playmaker

According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Manchester United are ready to cash in on €70m Premier League playmaker, Eberechi Eze. The 25-year-old has garnered interest from several clubs with his impressive performances.

In 19 appearances for Crystal Palace this season, the 25-year-old has recorded three goals and three assists. However, his skills go beyond what the stat sheet can tell you.

Eze may not look like it, but he does showcase a lot of strength when running with the ball. Moreover, his excellent passing ability can split most defences open with ease. Something that Manchester United desperately needs right now.

Manchester United have struggled to create anything this season. Most of their goals have either been a result of poor touches from the opposition or just sheer luck.

This wouldn’t have been the case if Mason Mount had been putting up the performances that he was expected to. However, injuries have not allowed the young midfielder to showcase his true skill to the Old Trafford crowd.

Signing Eze will help Erik ten Hag’s team create a lot more chances. Moreover, the team is also looking to bolster their defence, so we may see a much stronger Manchester United squad next season.

Mason Mount has only made 12 appearances for Manchester United this season.

A January transfer is not feasible for the Red Devils, so we can expect the team to chase after Eze during the summer transfer window.
