Who is Manchester United’s new CEO, Omar Berrada?

It’s been a while since Manchester United have been the best team in the city, but all of that might change now that Man City boss, Omar Berrada has been appointed as CEO at Old Trafford.

The Morrocan-born started his career by working with Honda, it wasn’t for a while until he made the switch to Barcelona in 2004. After a few years with the Catalan club, Berrada moved to Manchester City in 2011.

After five impressive years in various job roles, Berrada was appointed as CEO of the Blues. Manchester City have enjoyed their most successful years of football with Berrada at the helm.

Pep Guardiola might be a genius at football, but his success at the helm of the Blues would not have been possible without the stellar job that Berrada did from the shadows.

Now, he is due to arrive at Manchester United to steer the club to greatness again. Old Trafford is in shambles, but hope has finally arrived for the fans. As stated by the club, this is just the first step on their journey.

It seems like all that talk about INEOS having big plans for the Red Devils, wasn’t just talk after all. The positive influence of Sir Jim Ratcliffe was already a good sign, now the signing of Omar Berrada is just a godsend for this team.
