Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood was mocked by Sevilla following their latest loss

Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood was ridiculed by Sevilla following a defeat at their hands. The 22-year-old has been impressive during his time in Spain but it seems like not all is going his way.

Getafe and Sevilla faced off in a Copa Del Ray round of 16 matchup last night. Unfortunately for Greenwood, it was Los Nervionenses who ran away with the game to knock his team out of the cup.

Following the game’s conclusion, Sevilla’s official X account ridiculed the English winger who could only watch as his team was ripped apart in a 3-1 loss.

Sevilla were quick to joke around but they might have forgotten Mason Greenwood’s masterclass from their last game against him. The 22-year-old recorded a goal and an assist en route to a 3-0 victory.

He might not have been able to lead his team to the Copa Del Ray, but that doesn’t mean that Greenwood has not helped Getafe succeed. His five goals and four assists have played no small part in the team’s success.

The English winger will soon return to England where his future with Manchester United will then be reevaluated. Fans would love nothing more than to see a talent of his calibre back in the Manchester Red.
